Squidoo Tip #54: Make “Squidoo about Squidoo” Lenses

You know what my favorite kind of lenses are? They’re usually lenses about becoming a better lensmaster. Sometimes it’s more of a reference, like a list of HTML and CSS tricks you can use to make you lens look even more slick. Usually it’s a lens filled with tips and ideas for lensbuilding.
While you probably won’t get a lot of Google traffic with “Squidoo about Squidoo” lenses, you have a built-in audience right within Squidoo. Most lensmasters who care about making better lenses are going to have at least a spark of interest in a lens that will help them achieve these goals.
The best way to promote “Squidoo about Squidoo” lenses is to join the SquidU forum, link to them from your signature, and participate in discussions. Or, hey, if you’re lucky, it might end up on the Squidoo Answer Deck!

The problem I find is that there are already just so many really good lenses about improving your lenses. Every time I think I have some good tips to share, I read some of the lenses out there and realise I may as well just link to those. Job already done

Yeah, I guess there’s always that. Been a while since I’ve had any good (and honestly unique) ideas for a Squidoo about Squidoo lens.
